What is Play Therapy?

In play therapy, I use an integrative holistic model and provide a wide range of creative arts and media for the child to explore their creativity, feelings and emotions. I follow a non-directive, child-led approach where the child takes the lead and I follow. This allows the child to freely express themselves through play materials and activities.

Within a safe and supportive environment, I observe and engage with the child, allowing them to explore their thoughts, emotions, and challenges at their own pace. Play therapy helps children process their experiences, unlock emotions and feelings they may be struggling with, develop coping skills, and promote emotional growth.
